LONDON - German premium carmaker BMW did not want to miss with compatriot rival Daimler. BMW city car that is claimed to prepare a very efficient and meets the emission standards in Europe and the U.S.. "This will be the latest products with different views. Two variations of the machine was set to be paired to the car. One with a conventional engine and the other fully use electricity, "said BMW chief executive Norbert Reithofer as quoted by Autocar UK.
This little car has to meet regulatory standards that will be set in California in 2012, where electric cars must be powered with a battery capable of delivering vehicles to a distance of 320 km once a refill.

While conventional engine variants will be focused on the European market, where consumers still choose a car type internal combustion engine but with high fuel efficiency.
No information, whether the car will carry the BMW brand sold with or make any other brand. But the BMW has stated previously, will be launching four brand cars "green" new.
Daimler AG earlier develop electric-powered city cars. Previously, Daimler has been testing the 100 units of electric Smart in London.
